A satirical photography series examining the rise of trad-wife content being pushed online.

Through staged domestic scenes, the work places a modern woman seen executing a social performance, in an environment that reflects preconceived notions of traditional womanhood.

By emphasising this juxtaposition, the series attempts to expose and criticise the absurdity of repackaging traditional gender roles in a contemporary context, as well as contradictions embedded within the online fantasy of the “perfect woman”,

sexually available yet innocent, independent yet submissive.
